Amiantit secures SAR 97 million Western Region orders

The Western Region Marketing Department of Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company has secured orders worth more than SAR 97 million to supply GRP (glass reinforced polyester) pipes and accessories for infrastructure facilities that include Phase 3 of the Shoaibah Power Plant and Saline Water Conversion Cooperation.

Contractor for the Shoaibah project is Doosan Heavy Industry & Construction Company Limited and Amiantit's order amounts to SAR 75,702,588.

The balance is made up by two important orders from the Ministry of Water & Electricity consisting of GRP pipes systems for subsidiary sewer networks in Mid North Jeddah worth SAR 2,648,075 and Mid South Jeddah worth SAR 18,913,730.

In addition, Amiantit manufactures GRP corrosion resistant, high-capacity, single and double wall tanks for underground and above ground storage of liquids including fuel oils and petrochemicals.
