For 2006, Messe Frankfurt employed an independent research and registration company, Media Matters PLC; who analysed all visitor registration and survey data.

According to Gavin Morlini, Exhibition Manager,

"Visitor attendance at the 2006 show was up by 70% since last year at 5638, so naturally our exhibitors were happy. More importantly, in the independent survey exactly 90% of exhibitors stated that they were happy with the quality of the visitors we attracted."

On the visitor side, an amazing 81% of visitors came across a new product or service that they believed would be of interest to their business, highlighting the fact that Gardens, Landscaping & Outdoor Living Exhibition has become the marketplace for regional and international companies to do business in the Middle East."

Exhibitors gave extremely positive feedback about the show; according to Husham Gazaly, Production Manager Fujairah Marble & Tiles Factory there has been a revolution within the garden, landscaping and outdoor industry, no longer is the manicured garden a luxury, it has become a necessity. The visitors to the Garden, Landscaping and Outdoor Living Show are the right kind of customer, who know what they want, are very decisive of their needs, which for the exhibitor is a great aspect. The majority of interest has been from the construction industry within the GCC, as well as few potential international customers."

Mr. Gazaly continued:
"the show initially for the Fujairah Marble & Tile Factory was to identify the markets reaction to our products. However we have had an incredibly positive response and are close to finalizing an amazing deal".

Following the success of the 2006 event, Garden, Landscaping and Outdoor Living Show will run from 13 - 15th May in 2007 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
