Gazprom eyes Iran pipeline

Russian gas giant Gazprom is ready to become involved in the long protracted project to build a gas pipeline between Iran and India, via Pakistan, reported Reuters. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Gazprom would help in attracting finance to pay for the project. Political tensions between India and Pakistan regarding Kashmir have been a stumbling block to progress.
