- PRESS RELEASE
American Express, worldwide provider of payment and credit cards, has teamed up with The Rolling Stones to become head sponsor of 'A Bigger Bang' European tour.
According to Simon Mitchell, Country Director, UAE of American Express Middle East (AEME), "The exclusive partnership with The Rolling Stones European tour enables American Express to provide Cardmembers with outstanding value and access to unique privileges, which is a hallmark of the American Express brand. We want our new Cardmembers to enjoy the added value American Express provides, and being part of a once in a lifetime experience to watch The Rolling Stones live in London is a fantastic way to do just that."
UAE residents applying for American Express Cards during June and July 2006 will get an opportunity to see The Rolling Stones live in London on 22 August 2006. New approved Cardmembers automatically enter a draw to win an all expense paid trip to the UK for two, inclusive of hotel stay, business class airline tickets and passes to the concert. Winners will be drawn on 20 July.
Mitchell continued: "Our sponsorship of one of the biggest concert tours of the year complements the wide range of personal payment solutions we offer as well as our award winning Membership RewardsŪ loyalty programme, which further strengthens the dynamic and already diversified Card offerings by American Express."
