The bank's performance of last year has been outstanding and impressive. Al Salam Bank has managed to raise its capital to a total of 228 million dollar, an increase of 125%. A truly outstanding and impressive achievement in less than one year.
These figures were revealed at the bank's second annual meeting in the Sudan Capital, Al Khartoum on 14 June, where the shareholders were given an overall view of the Banks achievements and financial activities of last year ending in 31/12/2005 as well as a full annual report from the Shari' a supervisory Committee Members on the Banks last year's performance and the auditors report on the related consolidated statements of income, cash flows and changes in equity for the year then ended.
More over, Mr. Mohammed Ali Al Abbar, The Chairman of the Board in Al Salam Bank - Sudan, confirmed his full confidence in that Al Salam Bank - Sudan will continue its success in the coming New Year and will be able to acquire more shares in the financial market thanks to its innovative and exclusive financial services.
