Qatar wants refinery partner

Qatar Petroleum International, a newly created arm of the state owned Qatar Petroleum, is looking for a US partner to build a refinery in the US, according to agency reports. Oil Minister Abdullah Al Attiyah confirmed the country is in talks with US companies about the project but commented that the US government should offer incentives to spur the project. The construction would be the first such refinery built since the 1970s.
