AFS partners with Wire Card to provide real-time electronic payment systems

AFS, the region's leading provider of electronic-payments and consumer finance-outsourcing services has announced an agreement with Wire Card AG, one of the leading European pro-viders of real-time electronic payment systems with integrated risk management services.
The scope of the agreement extends from processing payments at the point of sale straight through to handling the Internet payments for online bookings for AFS clients. Illustrative of the viability of the AFS Wirecard partnership is the recent signing with Gulf Air to assist the pan Arab airline with implementing an e-ticketing facility.
