NTDE energizes with Pokka Lemon 1000

  • United Arab Emirates: Monday, June 19 - 2006 at 14:35
  • PRESS RELEASE

National Trading and Developing Establishment (NTDE), distributors of over 6,000 products in the UAE, introduces Pokka Lemon 1000 - a healthy, vitalizing drink.

With no preservatives, no artificial colouring, low sugar content, caffeine free and a mild but distinct lemon flavour, Lemon 1000 has the equivalent of vitamin C in 12 lemons in each 500 ml bottle. "Pokka Lemon 1000 is a unique product for the health conscious individual," said Hussain Al Zubaidee, Consumer Division Director - NTDE.

He added that the launch of Lemon 1000 is in line with the company's aim to add to the existing range of health drink options. "Consumers in the UAE are growing increasingly health conscious; many take time to read the nutrition facts of a product before purchase. Pokka's Lemon 1000 is intended for people who are particularly careful about what they consume and are looking for an energy boosting drink alternative.

"We at NTDE strongly believe in customer satisfaction, for this reason we always carry out market research before we launch a new product and for the Pokka Lemon 1000, the response was tremendous, as most people who tested it said the product made them feel revitalised and 'ready to go'."

Competitively priced, Lemon 1000 is presently available at leading supermarkets, hypermarkets and grocery stores in the UAE. Product marketing has begun in the emirates with the advertising campaign scheduled to stretch through out the summer.

Lemon 1000 is produced by Pokka, a Japanese/Singaporean company with a food and beverage operation that spans Asia. Pokka received ISO-9002 accreditation in 1995, which adheres to the highest international quality standards.

In its quest to produce the finest flavours, Pokka has developed Lemon 1000 with the most carefully selected ingredients. Other healthy products produced by Pokka and available through NTDE in the UAE include Pokka Aloe V, which has Aloe V pulps with white grape or blue berry or green apple juices, and the Pokka ice tea range - available in peach, mango and lemon flavours.
