Sixteen employees from MSE's Tubular Inspection Services (TIS) Qatar operations were awarded a crystal trophy in recognition of their contribution towards the landmark achievement within RasGas shore base operations at Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar.
Operations with RasGas began in 1997 and a permanent work contract to work on location was established in June 1998. The award was given by Mr Nafez Bseiso, RasGas Subsurface Technical Manager and accepted on behalf of the team by Shajakhan, TIS Inspection Superintendent.
The accolade reaffirms MSE's commitment to health, safety and environment and the company's aim to ensure the highest safety standards are met in all aspects of its corporate business.
Graham Caie, MSE's HSEQ Advisor (Qatar and TIS Operations), said "The commitment from each team member towards HSE awareness over the last 9 years has been outstanding. They have maintained the reputation of MSE's commitment to HSE at its highest level. This is a remarkable achievement for all concerned and sends out a clear message of MSE's intent to be recognised as a world class company with HSEQ as a way of life."
