Dubai Municipality designs for Dubai Fishermen Cooperative Society at Al Qusais Industrial Area 2 finalized

According to Essa Al Maidour, Assistant Director General for General Projects Affairs, works of the building would start by the end of this month and is expected to be completed in a year.
Al Maidour said the project is aimed at providing office space for the association and areas for setting up income generating establishments for the association such as ice factory and also a showroom for fishing equipments.
The 3,600 square metre premises will also include labour accommodation, store rooms for fishing equipments, workshop, parking area and areas for other spot services. Space has also been provided for future expansions.
The main building comprises of two floors and the front portion includes the offices of the Dubai Fishermen Cooperative Society, followed by the ice factory and the fishing equipment store and the rear part will be labour accommodation. The project will be ready by August 2007.
