As Zogby International staff members gather Wednesday for their quarterly meeting here, the polling company renowned for its accuracy, speed, and innovation marks an expansion to meet growing customer demand and a wide-ranging business plan.

"This company is expanding to meet an aggressive strategic global plan, and to further its reach in the domestic marketplace," said John Zogby, President and CEO of Zogby International. "I'm very pleased to say we have brought in a mix of local people from some of the finest schools around, and people from the outside to add a new and different perspective."

"The next step for us is to develop a new package of strategic, marketing, and management services based on the wealth of data we have produced over the past three decades," Mr. Zogby said.

Zogby International recently opened a branch office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to serve existing clients and to add new ones from that region. Zogby has been ahead of the curve in public opinion research in the Middle East, providing clients with unprecedented public opinion research data from many countries there.

"So far, we have been received here in Dubai with open arms, the buzz is being spread extremely fast. Being on the ground in the Middle East allows us to be in direct contact with our longstanding clients and gives us access to those who never had a chance to see Zogby International in action," said Ashraf Faramawi, International Project Manager.

In the United States, Zogby has continued to burnish its reputation for speed and accuracy with its telephone and interactive surveys, polling on a wide variety of topics. Zogby's interactive polling development has yielded handsome results -- accuracy in key political races around the country has been impressive, mirroring telephone survey results.

"This is clearly the future of polling, and we continue to refine this process to guarantee we remain ahead of the curve," Zogby said of the new technology.

As always, Zogby International has conducted surveys on important political races around the nation, as well as on topics from border security, immigration, home ownership, the state of trustworthiness in America, television viewing habits.

To meet increasing demands, the company has added several new employees in recent months, including: Christopher Koehnke, Washington D.C. Office Manager Shane Nelson, International Division Executive Fritz Wenzel, Director of Communications Ashraf Faramawi, International Project Manager, Jonathan Zogby, Director of Domestic Business Development, Phillip Vanno, Assistant Editor Mark Warner, Editor/Writer Kimberly Wyborski, Human Resource Coordinator and Paul Zogby, Systems Assistant.

In addition, Zogby International announces the promotions of the following staff members to new positions within the firm: Leann Atkinson, Project Manager and Christian Peck, Client Strategy Manager.

The firm has also added its annual class of summer interns, giving college students from around the country opportunities to work alongside Zogby professionals to gain hands-on insight and understanding of the public opinion research and marketing worlds.

This year, Zogby has hired seven interns from the following schools: Cornell University, University of Florida, University of Cincinnati, Le Moyne College, Northeastern University, Syracuse University, and the University of Wisconsin at Madison. An eighth intern from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, working in conjunction with the Dubai School of Government, is working in Zogby International's Dubai office.
