Al Rais has nearly 30 years of experience in project management and development. Prior to joining Hill, Al Rais was Director of Property Development for Dubai International Properties (now known as Sama Dubai). Before that, Al Rais was Program Manager with the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation where he oversaw the $5 billion expansion of Dubai International Airport. He earned a B.Sc. in city and regional planning from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore and an M.Sc. in project management from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom.

Engineering News-Record magazine recently ranked Hill as the 17th largest construction management firm in the United States.
