DM trains freshers on organizational loyalty

Dubai Municipality has organized for today (Sunday) a special training course for its staff on "Organizational loyalty and professional morality in public sector."

The course is being conducted as part of the ongoing internal training programme of the civic body for the year 2006.

Ahmed Ibrahim Al Zarouni, Acting Head of Human Resources Development Section in the Personnel Department said the course is being attended by a group of fresh graduates from different departments of the municipality.

He said the seminar is aimed at ensuring compliance of the work ethics and professional traditions that will help the freshers accomplish high performance in their duties at the Municipality.

Al Zarouni said the second training course of the week called, "Who are we?" would be organized on 28 June and would be attended by a group fresh graduates from different sections and units of the municipality.

He said the course is aimed at teaching the new employees their duties and the services provided to the internal as well as external customers. It is also intended to enhance their interaction with senior employees and acquaint them with the vision, mission and values of the Municipality.

Al Zarouni said another course called "Six Thinking Hats" commenced on Saturday and will continue today. This course would be attended by a group of heads of units in the municipality.

He said the fourth course of the week called "Traditional and automated lending systems," commenced on Saturday and will last until Tuesday. The course would be attended by a group of library employees.

He the fifth course of the week called "Security and safety at construction sites" would be organized during 26-28 June and would be attended by a group of employees from the departments of General Maintenance and Buildings.
