Cadbury chocolate withdrawn in UAE

The UAE's National Food Safety Committee has ordered all Cadbury chocolate bars to be removed from sale, following the recall of more than 1m Cadbury products from the market in the UK, due to their possible contamination with salmonella, reported Gulf News. The chocolate bars were withdrawn in Britain and Ireland as a preventative measure. A spokesperson for Cadbury Middle East said that Arab countries were unaffected by the contamination.
