Mr. David Crisp joined the office on May 7th, 2006 as the new Managing Director. David had spent two years at Memac Ogilvy Bahrain, between '97 and '99, in the capacity of the office's Client Services Director and Managing Director. David started his career some 32 years ago with J Walter Thompson, London as a trainee and worked his way up to Director - In - Charge. David also worked for leading agencies like Impact BBDO in Cyprus and Beirut, apart from his stint with Ogilvy & Mather, Düsseldorf, where as the Senior Regional Business Director, he spearheaded the now globally recognized Dove campaign for Real Beauty. After his success with the Dove campaign, David ventured into the agency business with his own set up for a while. However, the challenge of heading an operation in the Middle East was too tempting to resist and David finally decided to re-join Memac Ogilvy Bahrain and help the office to reinforce its status as the Kingdom's most cost efficient and creative communications solutions provider.

On his appointment, David commented "It is good being back in the Gulf after six years. I feel very positive returning to Memac Ogilvy network and heading a great office in Bahrain. With an outstanding blue chip client portfolio, an experienced and dedicated team of professionals and a dynamic business environment, I am looking forward to many years of productive communications in the years to come."

Joining David is Alan Peevers, the newly appointed Regional Creative Director. Alan is an award-winning Creative Director with in-depth international experience. He started his career in the UK working for J Walter Thompson and McCann Erickson before moving to Lintas in Kenya. Like David, Alan has worked for Memac Ogilvy Bahrain before, having spent close to five years there as Regional Creative Director, working on blue chip brands like American Express and Gulf Air. Other brands he has worked on include Al Rajhi Bank, Toyota, Honda, Peugeot, BMW, Lexus, Panasonic, IKEA, KLM and Kenya Airways.

Having joined the Bahrain office on April 18, 2006, Alan said, "I am looking forward immensely to the challenge. The agency is full of highly motivated and talented people and I will be working with them to help our clients build their brands with effective and outstanding creative work."

Memac Ogilvy Bahrain is a full service communications agency with advertising, customer relationship marketing, public relations and media investment services that also include audio-visual production and strategic planning. The office's clientele include regional brands like American Express, Coca Cola Middle East, DHL Middle East and Gulf Air.
