Al Salam Bank continues to attract globally experienced investment and banking specialists

Al Salam Bank continues its efforts in attracting highly qualified and experienced specialists in the field of Investment and Finance.

To reinforce those efforts, Mr. Marco Dondi has been recently appointed by Al Salam Bank as Senior Vice President - Head of Treasury and Asset Management.

Mr.Dondi's extensive experience in the financial field extends back to his previous position at BNP - Paribas as Head of Asset Liquidity Management and Fixed Income market activities with a global mandate for Middle East and North African currencies since 1999.

Mr. Dondi enjoys a rich experience and an informed insight to global and Japanese markets which is a result of his 7 year employment at Sumitomo Bank. Later on, Mr. Dondi had enhanced his regional experience in North Africa and the GCC through his involvement, since 1995, with Gulf Bank, Kuwait.

To further pursue its commitment, Al Salam Bank has also appointed Mr. Abdul Karim Turki as Senior Vice President- Head of Operations. It is important to note that Mr. Turki's 25 year experience in the financial field, specifically at Citibank, has provided him with a thorough knowledge and a wide experience in every aspect of the financial industry.

Mr.Turki has been involved in several core system implementations, latest being in 2004. He was also involved in the launch of Citi Islamic Investment Banking where he was responsible for formulating all operational procedures, devising the chart of accounts and products accounting. Ever since, Mr. Turki has been occupying several managerial positions such as Head of Internal Controls and Audit and Head of Treasury Operations; achieving outstanding results at each of the positions with his exceptional managerial skills.
