  • PRESS RELEASE

Dnata Airport Operations, sole ground handling agent at Dubai International Airport, has been re-accredited with International Air Transport Association (IATA) AHM 804 certification, boosting its portfolio of international quality and safety standards awards.

The re-accreditation certificate was presented to Ismail Ali Albanna, Executive Vice President Dnata, by Thierry Nossent, Assistant Director, Airport and Inflight Services IATA, at the IATA Ground Handling Conference 2006 in Istanbul, the annual international ground handling and airline industries' forum where Dnata was represented both as conference participant and exhibitor.

First awarded to Dnata three years ago, the IATA AHM 804 certification for performance measurement of service delivery standards was recently re-accredited after an audit and customer verification process.

It joins an array of quality and safety awards which distinguish Dnata as one of only a few ground handling organisations in the world certified and accredited to a comprehensive range of international standards.

In addition to IATA AHM 804 certification, Dnata holds ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification, AHS 1000 accreditation for quality service delivery, ISO 14001 Environment Management System certification, Ground Handling International's Ramp Safety Award, and the Dubai Quality Appreciation Award for Business Excellence.

Ismail Ali Albanna said:

"We're delighted that our focus on achieving customer satisfaction through detailed attention to quality has once again been recognised."

Re-accreditation of this prestigious international certification alongside our other awards clearly demonstrates that Dnata has established a global benchmark in ground handling services."
