Al Tayer receives Syrian Minister of Communications & Technology

HE Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Chairman of Commercial Bank of Dubai welcomed HE Dr. Amro Salem, Minister of Communications & Technology of the Syrian Arab Republic at the Banks headquarters in Dubai.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Khalifa Bakhit Al Falasi, Chairman of Global Investments Group and a delegation from the Syrian Arab Republic .

They discussed the good relations and the investment opportunities between the two countries and the possibility of developing mutual efforts and exporting the UAE's expertise in the field of banking and finance.

Al Tayer praised the positive changes recently witnessed by Syria in the banking and financial sectors, following global development and the legislation of a number of laws to support these changes.
