TRA gets 225 digital channels

The UAE's Telecommunications Regulatory Authority acquired rights to 225 digital TV channels at the ITU Regional Radio Communication Conference in Geneva. Channels were allocated among participating countries based on a digital terrestrial TV broadcasting plan. The TRA will soon put the channels up for licence.
