When asked about the condition of Arab and Egyptian Canadians, Ambassador Mackinnon remarked that they are in an excellent standing and that they represent a great asset to both Canadians and Arabs that can be crucial in advancing trade, joint ventures and mergers & acquisition activities between Canada and the Middle East.
