LG targets $6bn in region

LG Electronics is aiming to expand by more than 22% over the next few years in the Africa and Middle East regions, reported the Times of Oman. Ki Wan Kim, the President of LG Electronics Middle East and Africa, said that he wants LG in the top five electronics brands in the region in the mobile phones sector. Kim added that he is targetting a turnover of $6bn by 2010.
