'Creativity and innovation have become decisive factors that decide the success opportunities for new businesses. Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment encourages UAE entrepreneurs to come up with new ideas to start up unique businesses such as Brown Bag. The business concept behind the project is simple yet based on well-studied principles,' Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO of Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment said
Brown Bag will deliver entertainment, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and electronic items through orders placed via the website www.brownbag.ae or by calling toll-free 800 brown bag. It may sound simple and easy to the customer, but a lot of organization and logistics has gone into creating the new service.
Al Janahi pointed out, 'Brown Bag introduces a revolutionary concept of customer service. It sets a new benchmark for the service industry in the domestic market, and has very promising forward looking plans to extend its operations overseas'
'Before establishing Brown Bag, we understood the challenges involved in shortlisting the most demanded items for home delivery, securing key partners that will add as much value to us as we do to them and creating an infrastructure that does not only successfully deliver our theme, but will be effective enough so that we may be able to get the product to our consumers within the promised time,' said Ahmed Shabib Chief Executive Officer of Brown Bag.
Linked to a strong network of suppliers, Brown Bag will be operating as an enhanced 'delivery system' focused on getting the product to the consumer in less than an hour. The new company seeks to provide consumers with access to suppliers or outlets with a clear understanding of consumers' needs and requirements.
'The long term outlook of this idea is to cater to the regional need for home delivered items. We would fulfill an already existing demand in the region for doorstep delivery. People in the region are constantly looking to shop from sites such as Amazon.com, ebay.com and other sites. We believe that the demand can be fulfilled locally rather than have to source it internationally,' Ahmed added.
'The delivery time is an additional attractive aspect of the business that would pull customers as they can get whatever it is that they are looking for in an hour rather than weeks through international delivery,' Rashid Shabib Co-Founder and Networking Champion pointed out.
Following an intensive study, Brown Bag, has shortlisted the top items, which are most in demand for home delivery. 'We have partnered with the suppliers that we feel have the capabilities to provide us with the best products for the end consumer,' Rashid said.
The items and services that Brown Bag will cover include entertainment products and services such as DVDs, movie rentals, books, newspapers, CD's, magazines etc.
Brown Bag will also deliver electronic products such as laptops, music play-ers, mobile phones and electronic accessories. Food & Beverage items will include snacks, soft drinks, juices, microwavable products and others. Be-sides these, Brown Bag will deliver a host of other products such as cleaning items, medical items and hygiene products.
