Childrens City organize two lectures

The Children's City organized two lectures on Saturday and Sunday at its premises in coordination with the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology on "summer food safety" and "safety of children's toys."

Makiya Al Hajiri, Head of Children's City said the first lecture dealt with the guidelines on taking children's food in summer and the second took care of the safety conditions on playing with the toys and the play grounds for children.

She said the lectures were organized as part of the care Children's City takes on the cultural, scientific and hygienic perspectives affecting children and it is also part of its keenness to build a healthy and progressive society that provides the elements of cultural and hygienic environment.

Al Hajiri said that through this the Children's City spreads its message on opening up the cultural horizons for children as well as preparing them for a tomorrow with full of hopes.

She said Children's City is the first of its kind that provides different useful knowledge to children from age two to 15 using modern means.

Al Hajiri said the children, who are participating in the Summer Camp in the Children City as well as the participants of the Etisalat Academy Summer Camp attended the lectures held at the Theatre of Children's City.
