The 2-month training programme will end on 23rd August 2006 and is designed to provide a 360 degree view about the functioning of the stock market and its intermediaries, importance of getting companies, bonds and other securities listed on DFM and the overall contribution of DFM to the UAE economy.
The programme will feature a judicious mix of practical and theory classes, work-modules on DFM's various departments and classes at the brokerage firms' premises. DFM will give stipend to all the participants for the said training period.
DFM believes in nurturing young 'National' talent and invests heavily in human resource training programmes. The trainees will be divided into groups thereby providing adequate attention to each student.'
Besides, an induction course will be conducted on the first day of the programme, delivered by Mubarak Rashed Al Doosari, Head of Complaints and Investor Serivces Unit, DFM. A series of lectures and computer courses will also be conducted, in addition to DFM's IT department organizing a contest that will run for two weeks starting from July 22, 2006.
