OKI wins more awards

The magazine reviewed 25 colour and mono printers in its July issue.

"We're obviously feeling good about this one," said John Ross, general manager Middle East for Oki Printing Solutions. "PC Magazine is highly respected in the industry and by users and this award confirms what we've said all along: Oki's printing solutions offer superior value for money, superior performance and superior facilities and features to our competitors."

The award singled out Oki's C5250n printer in a 'group test' exercise that saw over ten colour printers set head to head in a demanding set of benchmarks and evaluations by the magazine's review team. The magazine, in making the award, singled out the machine for its 'fantastic price', 'terrific performance and decent features set'. The Oki printer won the award by closely beating the HP 3800n.

"We're delighted that the Oki managed to squeeze past the HP machine in the tests: to be able to beat a competitors product is always good, but to be able to beat out a product from a competitor that costs double is something else. At half the price, PC Magazine thought we offered more printer. And that says a great deal for the value that we offer the market," said Ross.

In the end, two of the four printers selected by PC Magazine for the 'Winners' category in its review were from Oki.
