The popular tournament, which will be held at the Cascades Golf Course, is open to Men, Women and Seniors who can enter under Gold, Silver and Bronze Categories, depending on their ability.
Golf is becoming an increasingly important part of Egypt's tourism profile, with eight world-class courses featuring a variety of seaside, desert and oasis designs spread around the country.
Ahmad El Khadem, chairman of the Egyptian Tourist Authority, said: 'The Red Sea Pan Arab Golf Open Amateur Championship is an extremely important event as it enables us to showcase our excellent facilities to discerning golfers across the region.'
The 18-hole, par 71 Sheraton Soma Bay course is a particularly amateur-friendly venue as it contains four tee settings on each hole as well as caddies, power carts and a driving range.
Egypt's other golfing gems in the Red Sea region include the Steigenberger Golf Resort at El Gouna and Movenpick Jolie Ville Golf Resort at Sharm El Sheikh.
Region's golfers have scores to settle at Soma Bay
