Avaya appoints Alamana Industries as Value-Added Reseller for its data networking solutions in Kuwai

Avaya (NYSE:AV), a global leader in corporate communications networking solutions and services, has appointed its BusinessPartner, Alamana Industries, as a Value Added Reseller for Avaya's data networking solutions in Kuwait.
According to Walter Koenig, Avaya's regional managing director, Middle East, North Africa and South Eastern Europe, the appointment will further enhance Avaya's regional service offering to customers in Kuwait.
"As part of its enhanced role, Alamana Industries will market products and services from Avaya's MultiService Networking Infrastructure Solutions (MSNI) portfolio which offers a comprehensive set of data networking solutions through Avaya's indigenous offerings as well as through reseller agreements with other vendors. This allows for the seamless delivery of next-generation networks to a wide range of customers," said Mr Koenig.
Avaya's MSNI portfolio falls into five primary areas: LAN Solutions, including Ethernet, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) and multifunction stackable and modular chassis switches and network management software; WAN Solutions, including multi-service access routers, Internet access routers, firewall and virtual private network
(VPN) appliances, frame relay access devices and network management tools; Network Services, which includes policy management software and Avaya's Data Services Centre; Wireless solutions, serving the wireless LAN user at home, at the office and in public areas; and Avaya's SYSTIMAX ® structured connectivity solution, enabling the convergence of voice, data and video over private enterprise networks via copper, fibre, wireless software or a combination of all.
"Alamana Industries' specialist knowledge and expertise in telecommunications includes data networking, digital switching, converged voice and data networking and call centre solutions. We provide sales, service, maintenance, and round-the-clock technical support to a large group of customers, and are pleased to contribute to the development of value added communications solutions in Kuwait," added Jolian Ibrahim, General Manager of the Technology Group for Alamana Industries.
