DigitalSkys appoint Board Chairman

DigitalSkys, providers of the next generation in global telecommunications and specialists in reliable 'last-mile' wireless solutions have appointed HH Prince Bander Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al-Saud to the position of Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect.
In 1993 he completed his master's degree in National Security from the National Defense University in Washington DC and in 1994 went on to obtain an MPA from George Washington University.
Commenting on his appointment, HH Prince Bander Bin Abdullah expressed his strong commitment to the new role. "This is a fantastic opportunity for me to help shape the future of an exciting, fast paced industry. DigitalSkys has the strategic long-term vision and extraordinary technical expertise in satellite based VSAT platforms, WiMAX and Wi-Fi technologies to become global leaders in their field and I look forward to playing my part in the company's development," he said.
The appointment comes as DigitalSkys seek to take commercial advantage of their successful deployment of the latest generation of two-way, high speed satellite based platforms, by reaching new customers across diverse territories and business sectors.

Future growth is to be part funded through the company's upcoming listing on the Australian Stock Exchange.
