Sony wants more sales

Sony recorded sales of $1bn in the Middle East in 2005, with the UAE, Saudi and Iran accounting for 60%, reported Gulf News. The Japanese electronics major is confident sales will cross $1bn in 2006. The company released the Vaio UX in Dubai on Wednesday, a pocket-sized laptop with Intel Centrino Mobile Technology, weighing just 500 grams.
