Orascom, Emaar eye Egypt site

Egypt's Orascom Hotels and Development and Dubai based Emaar Properties have both tendered bids for a prime real estate site on the Egyptian coast at Sidi Abdul Rahman and Al Alamein, according to agency reports. The land, which could be developed into a tourist resort, is being sold by the Egyptian government's tourism company Egoth. Emaar has thus far made no comment on the bid.
