- PRESS RELEASE
Better Life, part of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, is organizing several interesting activities for the public during the Food Surprises theme week of the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS-2006) taking place at five shopping malls in the emirate from July 6 to 12.
Better Life is hosting the European Cuisine festival at the Mall of the Emirates on July 8th at 6 pm. The show is expected to attract huge number of visitors given the variety of cuisines that will be created and distributed to the public.
Mr. Ajai Dayal, General Manager, Retail and Marketing, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, said: "This is our first partnership with DTCM for the DSS and we thank them for choosing us. Cooking demonstrations are a great way to introduce Better Life and its products to customers as they give shoppers the opportunity to experience the products themselves."
He said: "DSS has boosted retail sales for Better Life over the years. With our participation at Food Surprises week, we are expecting the same this year as well."
Ms. Anamika Priyadarshini, Marketing Manager, Better Life, said: "How a dish tastes is definitely affected by the appliances you use. The more sophisticated the appliance, the easier and quicker it is to cook - Siemens and Ufesa products are both winners in that sense offering a wide range of appliances."
She said Better Life believes in giving something back to its valued customers and interactive cooking demonstrations and competitions are a great way to get everyone involved, learn new things and share useful tips.
Food Surprises theme week is organized by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM). More than 300 activities are taking place at five shopping malls and involves the support of 42 hotels of five and four-star categories.
With a budget of AED5 million, Food Surprises has returned after three successful years of Sweets Surprises with an impressive lineup of more than 300 activities which are a combination of entertainment and education for the people of different nationalities and age groups.
Braun, Better Life and Siemens joined the DTCM as sponsors for the Food Surprises in addition to those who have been working with the department over the years - Jumeirah, Emirates Culinary Guild, Intercontinental Hotel Dubai, Bab Al Shams, Nestle, Abela and Paris Gallery.
It is also being supported by Park Hyatt, Grosvenor House, Kempinski Mall of the Emirates and Chelsea. Avari Dubai and Lotus hotels will join in the different activities for the first time.
