Etisalat, fixed line SMS service

Etisalat has introduced a fixed line SMS feature which, with a specially enabled telephone, will allow customers to send and receive short messages between other similar telephones and mobile phones, and send messages to fax machines and email addresses. The service is enabled for text to speech conversion, so that users who do not have an SMS enabled telephone with a display screen can receive messages as a voice message.
