Kirkuk oil to Turkey ceases

The pumping of oil to Turkey from Northern Iraq has once again stopped, but the reason for the cessation is technical, according to agency reports. Iraq is waiting for enough crude oil to be collected from its Kirkuk fields before sending through the next batch of a million barrels. The pipeline to Turkey has mostly been idle since the US led invasion of the country in March 2003.
