Datawatch Middle East expands with Business Development Manager

Datawatch offers enterprise reporting and data transformation that enable organisations to increase productivity, reduce costs and gain competitive advantage. One such a solution is Monarch. Monarch is the world's leading report mining and data analysis desktop tool.
Prior to joining Datawatch Middle East, Sonal spent 4 years working as a syndicate accountant for Lloyds of London, specialising in Marine and Aviation syndicates. She has also been involved in numerous system implementations.

For the next 8 years she worked as Group Pension Fund Accountant for Tomkins PLC/ Ranks Hovis McDougall PLC where she helped manage the £2bn occupational pension scheme. Here she became heavily involved in a number of IT projects and eventually combined her role to become the company's IT Manager. She dealt with systems implementations and the annual IT Audit. She was responsible for the company's risk management strategy, business continuity planning and all aspects of the annual IT budget and all IT policy documents, including security.

At Datawatch, Sonal's role will include developing new customers through her excellent knowledge of, and skills in, Monarch and other Datawatch products. Apart from opening new accounts, she will train and build models for users.

Sonal will be part of the first ever Datawatch / Monarch Users' Conference in the GCC region which will be taking place on the 14th & 15th of August 2006 at the Arabian Ranches.
