Sectarian TV in Iraq

Media experts believe that some television channels in Iraq are adding to the sectarian divide in the nation and harming the chances of unification, reported the AP. Since the US led invasion in 2003, more than 12 stations have competed with each other for viewers, many targeting specific groups such as the Shia, Sunni, Christian, Kurdish and Turkomen communities. Some analysts feel that some form of media regulation is needed.
