Bahrain, online WiFi licences

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in Bahrain is planning an online registration system which will allow individuals, businesses and operators to obtain a licence to use WiFi and WiMAX by filling in an online application form. There will be no fees associated with this licence, and it will allow its holder to use WiFi, WiMAX and other Wireless LAN technologies, in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, in the kingdom.
