RAK stores overcharge

Supermarket customers in Ras Al Khaimah have complained that there is a difference between prices printed on goods and prices actually being charged at the till, reported Gulf News. Najeeb Al Shamsi, the Director General of the Economic Department, said that this is against UAE Commercial Law; he warned that supermarkets found guilty of this offence would be fined and possibly closed down for repeated violations.
