STC chooses Huawei 3G

The Huawei Technologies Company has been awarded a contract by the Saudi Telecom Company to deploy its 3G network in the kingdom. STC selected Huawei after its GSM Softswitch network successfully withstood high volumes of traffic during this year's Hajj. Huawei will supply a complete core network to help STC launch 3G services countrywide.
