"GBM is committed to anticipating and meeting the various needs of our clients, and as business becomes more sophisticated within the region, client requirements for technology solutions become more complex. To meet customers needs, this regular event focuses on the developments in our offerings and provides an in-depth look at new products in IBM eServer, TotalStorage solutions, Retail systems and printing solutions lines of business," said Soubhi Chebib, GBM Director of IBM products.

"We have implemented a number of innovative business initiatives aimed to drive growth and improve the operational efficiencies of our clients. The Sales Enablement Program allows us to build on our successes and the growing demand for IBM Hardware platforms within the region. This has resulted in 31% growth at the end to 2005 and we are expecting even better results in first half in 2006 as we finish compiling the numbers", he added.

"We looked at the IBM zSeries, iSeries, pSeries, xSeries, TotalStorage, and Printing systems, as well as Retail Store and Self Service solutions. Presentations were given updating the participants on the latest developments in IBM Hardware platforms and how to leverage that technology to deliver business value to our clients. Additionally, the Program offered the sales teams a platform to collaborate and share success stories as well as regional customer references," he added.
