DTCM media campaign promotes DSS-2006 Food Surprises

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) is conducting a media campaign in the UAE, Arab countries and other parts of the world to promote the DSS-2006 Food Surprises theme week from July 6 to 12.

The print campaign titled 'My Surprises. My Dubai' is being run in the local Arabic and English newspapers and magazines in addition to the regional publications and reputed international titles.

DTCM Executive Media and Advertising, Ms. Lamya Kajoor, said. "Millions of people from different nationalities are being made aware about the DTCM initiative and the highlights of the Food Surprises. The campaign will help attract more visitors to Dubai during the summer."

DTCM offices and venues of different events have been decorated to reflect the DSS theme week. Colourful balloons, ribbons and posters have been used for the innovative decoration. Food Surprises theme week is organized by the DTCM as part of the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS-2006).

More than 600 chefs from 42 hotels of five and four-star categories are behind the themed week activities. Food Surprises has an impressive lineup of more than 300 activities.

Braun, Better Life, Siemens, Jumeirah, Emirates Culinary Guild, Intercontinental Hotel Dubai, Bab Al Shams, Nestle, Abela and Paris Gallery are the support partners of DTCM for Food Surprises.
