etisalat and Mitel sign agreement to deploy Mitel 3300 ICP (Integrated Communications Platform) for IP applications

Mitels 3300 Integrated Communications Platform (ICP) allows etisalat to offer their customers 'Investment Protection.' By supporting both customers existing installed TDM equipment while allowing the deployment of newer IP based equipment. Customers of etisalat will also enjoy additional services to their existing voice solutions.

etisalat will gradually replace its traditional voice network with the Mitel 3300 Integrated Communications Platform (ICP) solution in various locations throughout the UAE. The proposed Voice-over-IP deployment comprises of over 10,000 IP phones, including IP wireless terminals, Soft Phones, Teleworker and Call Centres. The solution will generate significant savings to etisalat on operating costs.
