Audi Middle East appoints new Head of Marketing

With effect from the 25th June 2006 Audi Middle East has appointed Austrian-born Bernd Rosenbichler to head the marketing department of the Middle East subsidiary of the German premium car manufacturer Audi.

After studying Economics and Business Administration in Vienna, Austria, and the USA, the 32-year old joined Ford Germany in 1999 as project leader for fleet marketing and business development. He subsequently joined AUDI AG in 2001 where he advanced through the areas of Customer Relationship Management, product planning and market research to his last post as Assistant to the Member of the Board of Marketing and Sales. With the addition of Mr. Rosenbichler to Audi Middle East, AUDI AG not only reconfirms its commitment to the Middle East region, but also aims for a further raise in the brand's popularity and sales throughout the GCC and Levant.

Upon his official appointment Mr. Rosenbichler explained

"The Middle East is a highly complex and exciting market with great growth potential, especially in the premium segment. Together with the Audi Middle East team and our importers, it is now my goal to make the Audi brand as well known and loved as in our home base of Central Europe."
