Riffa Golf Club first aid training

Representatives of all departments at Riffa Golf Club recently took part in 'Emergency Aid', a first aid training course run by Pamela Kamal, a qualified first aid instructor.

Twelve senior representatives from the Club's academy, course maintenance, operations, administration and retail departments participated in the course which was held in the Club's marquee on two consecutive Saturdays. Topics covered included the administering of emergency CPR, how to construct an emergency action plan and how to treat and care for people suffering from a variety of illnesses and injuries until professional assistance arrives.

"Riffa Golf Club is strongly committed to the ongoing training of all staff, both to improve their personal skills and abilities and to ensure the best level of service for our members and guests,"


explained general manager, Michael Braidwood. "Ensuring that a number of staff are equipped with knowledge of emergency first aid is an important requirement for any company."
