- United Arab Emirates: Monday, July 10 - 2006 at 13:03
- PRESS RELEASE
Qatar Airways, the flag carrier of the state of Qatar, has launched an aggressive marketing campaign to highlight its fantastic summer offers, valid for departures from Dubai to over 70 destinations worldwide.
Special offers extend to both Economy and Business Class products, across the network.
The campaign which kicked-off last week, has already created a massive interest from the travelling public. Special offers are promoted daily through both print media and radio.
Qatar Airways offers 49 weekly return flights from Dubai, via Doha, to destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Subcontinent and the Far East, and in conjunction with its airline partners to North and South America and Australia.
The airline's fleet of 47 aircraft will more than double in size by 2015 to 110 jets. Qatar Airways plans to acquire up to 80 new aircraft in orders worth US$16 billion to meet its expansion targets.
Qatar Airways is one of only four airlines in the world with a Five Star ranking for service and excellence awarded by Skytrax, the independent aviation industry auditor.
Skytrax recently increased Qatar Airways' global ranking to sixth best airline in the world in 2006, and named the carrier's cabin crew as Best in the Middle East for the fourth consecutive year and second best in the world.
