Dubai airport traffic up 16.24%

Passenger movements through Dubai International Airport increased by 16.24% to 13.76m in the first half of 2006, compared to the same period in 2005, according to the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation. February was the busiest month for aircraft movements, with more than 18,000 flights recorded. Cargo volumes were up 10% to 690,775 tonnes.
