Kuwait announces new cabinet

Kuwait's new cabinet is dominated by the Ruler's Al Sabah family, despite the opposition's victory in parliamentary elections. Al Sabah members have taken top portfolios in energy, defence, interior and foreign affairs. Former Energy Minister Ahmed Al Fahd Al Sabah lost his job to Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al Sabah, and Minister for Cabinet Affairs Muhammad Daifallah Sharar was replaced by Ismail Al Shatti.
