Emaar, $680m Saudi IPO

Emaar the Economic City, a consortium headed by Dubai-based Emaar Properties which includes Saudi investors, says Saudi's Capital Market Authority has approved its initial public offering worth $679.9m. The consortium will offer a 30% stake - 255m shares - at a nominal face value of SR10 each. It will run for 10 days from 22 July 2006.
