About HSDPA
MTC Vodafone (Bahrain)'s launch of the new service puts the Kingdom among the first countries in the world to have 3.5G, which, due to the massively increased speed, enhances the appeal of mobile technology for internet access and downloading of high resolution movies, video, interactive games and multimedia music tracks.

MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain)'s HSDPA technology (3.5 G) further enhances the customers' experience of data services and expands the range of 'WoW' services. The world's fastest data downlink speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps are possible through HSDPA access, with the current maximum being 1.8 M bits per second.

The evolution of 3.5G technology gives MTC Vodafone (Bahrain)'s mobile data customers convenient wireless internet access anywhere, any time. Used with a PC or laptop, the technology presents a real alternative internet service to dial-up, low speed ADSL and high speed ADSL.

The service can be obtained simply by calling the customer service call centre 107 or visiting any of our experience shops which are available throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain; for provisioning the service.
