Indian rail commuters bombed

More than 150 rail commuters in Mumbai have been killed by bomb attacks on Tuesday evening. A series of eight explosions ripped apart train carriages carrying evening commuters on the Western Railway, one of the busiest networks in the world. Stock exchange and central bank officials expect the Bombay Stock Exchange to open for business as normal today (Wednesday). But investors are bracing for a possible sell-off of the Indian rupee, equities and bonds.
