Dubai healthcare report

Twenty-six new hospital projects are slated for completion in Dubai by 2010, part of the government's strategy to have the private sector represent 70% of healthcare services. According to a report by the health department, Dubai currently has six public hospitals with more than 1,800 beds; 17 private hospitals with 855 beds, and 558 private clinics. Dubai Healthcare City is set to host another 17 private hospitals with 2,325 beds.
